PTA PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Hello Parents and friends.
We have had another successful school carnival which funds all the great programs that the PTA does for the rest of the year. I wanted to thank our carnival committee and their families for all the work they put into the carnival. I also wanted to thank our
wonderful teachers and Principal for supporting the PTA and for all the help that they provided. Last but not least I wanted to thank all of the families that came to support the carnival. We have a great community of families and a wonderful faculty that help make OES the best!
We are so excited about the Steve James assembly and family concert which will be part of our Red/Purple ribbon week. Our school has been chosen out of the whole state and your kids have been working hard on their songs. The family concert has
been moved to Mountain View High School the night of the 13th at 7:00. So mark your calendars and join us for a very special evening.
I wanted to encourage everyone to come to Parent/Teacher night on the 7th and 8th of Oct. Our teachers spend the majority of the day with our children and it is a great time to check on their progress and be supportive. Our next PTA meeting is October 6th at 9:30 in room 206. Anyone is welcome to come and share ideas. We have many fun events upcoming like walk to school day, Red/Purple Ribbon Week, and family month in November. Be watching for more information on all these events.
